Vanessa Sievewright, M.A., CCC-SLP, is the founder and CEO of Twice Exceptional Foundation, bringing her expertise in language-based learning disorders, stuttering, apraxia, and executive functioning to the forefront of our mission. Her personal experience with speech, language, and learning challenges fuels her commitment to creating equitable educational opportunities for all students, particularly those from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Vanessa is dedicated to ensuring that every child receives the individualized support they need to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

Dr. Allan Rosenberg, a distinguished chemist and advocate for education equity, brings his passion for fostering diversity and inclusion in STEM to our Board of Directors. Alexis McDermott, Chief Operating Officer of Twice Exceptional, brings personal experience and professional expertise to our mission of revolutionizing special education. Diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia, and now a parent to three neurodiverse children, Alexis is committed to harnessing technology and innovative solutions to empower students with learning disabilities. With a deep understanding of learning disorders and a passion for systemic change, Alexis strives to equip educators with the tools and confidence needed to create meaningful, lasting impact in their communities.
